Wrong: First of all, the writer contends because, no Palean boats have been found, transferring woven baskets from Palea to Lithos had not been possible. نگارنده این جمله با یکی دانستن نقطه گذاری because با کلماتی چون therefore به اشتباه کاما آورده است. Coordinating Conjunctions & Comas حروف ربط و کاما این حروف ربط عبارتند از: and – but – or – so – yet – for – nor نکته 1: وقتی از این حروف برای ربط دو و تعداد بیشتری جمله استفاده کنیم قبل از آنها کاما میگذاریم. Example: I called her up, and I apologized for my insensitive remark. نکته 2: وقتی از این حروف برای ربط بخشی هایی از یک جمله یا دو جمله ای که فاعل یکی از آنها حذف شده است استفاده می کنیم، کاما نباید بکار رود. Example: I would share my information with Mary and John. ( کاما لازم نیست) Example: I hurt Ted and apologized immediately. ( کاما لازم نیست) @GRE_Borzabadi هشدار: برخی از شما به اشتباه هر وقت این حروف ربط هفت گانه را میبینند بلافاصله قبل از آنها کاما میگذارید، درصورتیکه همانطور که گفته شد گاهی این کار کاملا غلط است. این اتفاق بیشتر وقتی روی میدهد که بخشهایی که به هم ربط داده می شوند کمی طولانی باشند. به مثال زیر دقت کنید.
